The Spanish company, Onyx Solar, has provided its cutting-edge solar technology to be installed as a curtain wall at one of the sales points that Saltoki operates throughout Spain. The installation is for their Valencia office, located in the Quartz de Vara Industrial Park on the outskirts of the city.

The integration of the photovoltaic technology encompasses 68 units of crystalline silicon photovoltaic glass, sized at 2,143x1,078 mm, a glass configuration of 6T+6T along with a system of side inserts for curtain wall.

 

Each PV glass unit boasts a light transmittance of 50%, allowing ample natural light penetration into the building's interior and generating substantial savings in artificial lighting expenses. Furthermore, the incorporation of a 16 mm argon chamber enhances both thermal and acoustic insulation, providing added comfort for its visitors. As a whole, the photovoltaic integration covers an area of 157 m² and achieves a peak power capacity of 16 kWp.
